Launched in 2024 by MozYouth, this two-year internship program aims to empower 500 young people, with a focus on Cabo Delgado, Niassa, and Nampula. The initiative prioritizes youth employment, gender inclusion, and green sector opportunities, with 60% of interns expected to be women.

By the end of 2024, 269 interns had been placed—264 in Cabo Delgado—with 34% securing employment post-internship. The program also delivers training in work readiness, health and safety, and employability, helping youth gain practical skills and transition into stable jobs. It is a key step toward building local capacity and resilience in conflict-affected regions.
