The Mozambique LNG Foundation and the Provincial Executive Council of Cabo Delgado met as the Steering Committee established under the Memorandum of Understanding signed in March 2025.

The session reaffirmed a shared commitment to continue working in close alignment with the Province and its sectoral directorates throughout 2026.
Across health, education, economic diversification, and infrastructure support, amongst other areas, the conversation reaffirmed a simple principle: development outcomes are more sustainable when they are built on, and reinforce, the priorities of provincial institutions.
We remain as focused as ever on human capital development and economic diversification in Cabo Delgado, and on doing so hand in hand with the institutions that lead it.
